I research Civil War Regiments, Artillery, Cavalry and Infantry both Union and Confederate. Gather as much information on a regiment from a wide range of resoures inculding my own large personel libary. (Check out my personal libary page). I then put all the information that I have gathered and place it into one report.
Regiment Report
1-1861 – Civil War Regiment Report - Information compiled from the volumes of the War of The Rebellion Official Records of The Union and Confederate Armies, Military Order of the Loyal Legion of the United States, The Union Army Illustrated, Confederate Military History, Confederate Veteran, The Southern Historical Society, Units of the Confederate Armies by Crute Jr., The Virginia Regimental Histories Series, North Carolina Regiments by Clark, The Civil War in Georgia, Tennesseans in the Civil War, The Confederate Army of New Mexico, Roster of Confederate Soldiers, Battles and Leaders of the Civil War, Photographic History of the Civil War, Ohio in the Civil War, Iowa Civil War Rosters, History of the Pennsylvania Volunteers, many State Adjutant Generals Reports and other hard to find research material. The Deluxe Regiment Report contains reports, orders, and correspondence written by the commanders of the regiment of your choice, key battlefield pictures. The report will also have a History of the Regiment, some battle casualty figures and commanding Generals Biography, pictures and assignments. Some Medical and Surgical History. The report is printed on 24lb paper, indexed and is coil bond with see through cover and protective back. This report could also have individual company and flag information. #2-1862- Regiment History - Each history will give the place and date of organization, where the men were recruited, command assignments, campaigns, battles, and when the unit was mustered out or surrendered. Printed on 20lb paper and is coil bond. $10.00
Roster Listing
#3-1863 - Roster Listings - A alphabetical listing of men assigned to a company, placed into a report cover. (if available) Printed on 20lb paper and is coil bond. $12.00
Soldiers Military Search
#4-1864 - Soldiers Military Search - A search for Military and Pension records of a
Unionor Confederate soldier. Research is from the National Archives and individual State Archives and Libraries Printed on 24lb paper and is coil bond $140.00 or $60.00 min. if no records found (Search takes 10 to 12 weeks)
Regiment CD
#5-1865 - Regiment CD - This is a Deluxe Regiment Report placed on a CD-ROM. Will have all company roster listings if available. $25.00 (If you have a computer this is an outstanding value)
*The purpose of a Regiment Report is for me to gather as much information on a specific Civil War Regiment from as many reference books or materials that are available. I then compile all the information that is collected on the Regiment into one report. This way the customer has all the references to that regiment in one single report. Instead of them writing and traveling to state archives, libraries, Museums, buying books, and paying research fees. I only charge $37.00 plus shipping and handling. This is a lot cheaper then paying for one single researcher. Many Civil War collectors have requested this report to ad some authenticity to there artifact. Most reports end up being over 50 pages long. These reports are filled with interesting facts and battle casualty figures right from the Official Records of the Civil War, and other hard to find research material, this report could lead them to other areas to continue there search into the Civil War and ancestors that could have fought in that great conflict.
